Summary

	Phase I Cold Assault Armor, also known as HT-77 Cold Assault Armor, was a specialized type of insulated clone trooper armor that was designed for operations in cold environments such as polar regions or planets that were distant from their local sun, and all clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic were trained to wear such armor. The armor featured additional thermal seals and insulated flaps, and greatly enhanced the basic temperature-regulating functions of the standard clone bodysuit. Furthermore, the sensory apparatuses that were installed in the helmet was designed to deal with issues that arose from cold-weather conditions. The visor lenses were treated to resist the reflective glare from snow and to avoid frosting over when exposed to moisture, and the audio feedback and comlink systems dampened the sound of high winds and other interference.
